    Argentina • Managed change throughout the organization: fostered organizational alignment, introduced performance culture, eliminated hierarchical structures and established Agile operational cadences. Company increased volumes 50% with half the headcount. • Acquired Nestlé Waters HOD Argentinean operation in 2017. • Acquired world class practices on strategy execution (Balanced Scorecards, Strategy Deployment Process/Hoshin Kanri, OKRs), workplace culture (Great Place to Work), process improvement (Agile/Scrum, Lean management, Six Sigma, 5s, BPMs), and quality (ISO9001), innocuity (HACCP), organizational health management & safety (OHSAS) and environmental (ISO14001) management. • Reengineered ERP/CRM systems; manual and digital processes were migrated to an in-house developed platform supported by a solid database architecture feeding state-of-the-are business intelligence analytic tools. • Fred 85% of the invested capital through working capital optimization (days sales outstanding went from 109 to 37 days in just 2 years) and the sale of real estate (3 facilities) and other fixed assets. • Built 2 new plants for 90% of the company’s total bottling capacity.

    An internet startup, its business model focused on providing transactional engines for financial products to third parties for a share on their revenues. The portal was acquired by the Madrid Stock Exchange. • Led startup and funding rounds (“angel” and institutional), oversaw the expansion of the company in Chile, Argentina and Brazil (35 people in total), formed major alliances with partners for content, products and web tools.

    M&A and Private Equity Latin America • Led and executed the sale of major salt producer and distributor in Chile and the US Northeast. • Executed the sale of the controlling stake of an Argentinean utility company to one of the remaining partners. • Led the advisory of a Swedish company in its bidding for certain Brazilian ore & steel mills facilities. • Actively participated in the purchase of a Colombian telecom supplier by a US multinational. • Actively participated in the advisory of a leading European ISP to acquire a major Latin American ISP player. • Recommended and executed several internet investment opportunities for JPM’s Private Equity Fund, including the leading Internet portal, a regional provider of encryption technology and Latin America’s largest free ISP.

Also developed and implemented the hedging policy and procedures for the firm´s bond portfolio. • Developed new market opportunities to issue debt and new financial products (hybrid notes, PNs, etc), participated in several financial transactions, including transactions in M&A, IPOs, rights offerings, bond issues, etc.
