Worked with an amazing technology team to create the award-winning Brilliant Control, a smart home touch and voice control system that is installed just by replacing a light switch. Ran the pre-order campaign (sold out in 16 days), helped raise our $21m Series A from August Capital, then built up the teams for a successful launch in Sept, 2018.

    10D Labs is a consulting firm that created "Navy Seal"​ teams of designers, data scientists, developers, and e-commerce experts to execute digital product launches and structure teams for high growth. We specialized in optimizing organic growth through A/B testing and social media, and designing customer experiences that are compelling and delightful. Clients include PayPal, Neiman Marcus, eBay, American Eagle Outfitters, Hearst Media, Branding Brand, Goldieblox, Rosetta Stone, Vertex Ventures, and more. My role at 10D Labs is as a Managing Partner, where I lead projects and take on interim executive roles. Sample projects include: - as Chief Product Officer at Branding Brand (runs mobile commerce for 240+ of the largest online retailers), built a product team to launch the "B2E Platform", helping the company become the #1 technology platform for mobile retail/commerce, and the top integrator of PayPal, Pinterest, and more - as Chief Marketing Officer at Eaze, managed marketing, PR, field teams, VIP programs, brand development, events, and government relations to help the company grow 10x, raise a $13m Series B, and become #1 in the market - developed an omnichannel retail technology strategy for Neiman Marcus (mobile, tablet, catalog, store), including an innovative custom-fitting experience with 85% gross margins - implemented growth hacking/engagement marketing for 14 e-commerce apps, resulting in avg 474%+ in customer engagement and 121% increase in revenue - created a distributed digital commerce strategy for a 100-year-old household consumer media brand to increase online presence by 433% and gross margins by 88% - advised Rosetta Stone on setting up three innovation labs, repositioning products for tablets, and shifting to online marketing methods

Architected and launched the B2E Platform, which expanding the product line into digital marketing and social commerce, and ran business development efforts to make Branding Brand the #1 integrator of Pinterest, PayPal, and Twitter via open API’s. Named the #1 mobile commerce technology by Forrester Research.

    I managed PayPal's innovation efforts with a great team of product managers, technical architects, and business development experts at this $6 billion/year revenue payments company, which drives 18% of all e-commerce transactions and 33% of m-commerce across the globe. Our team analyzed best practices in e-commerce and mobile conversion in 20+ verticals (including most of the Internet Top 100 retailers), identified disruptive innovation opportunities in 40+ global markets, and then developed/designed/launched/partnered/funded high impact projects that could yield immediate results and ensure PayPal has lots of headroom to continue it's 25%+ annual growth in 190+ countries. We had full P&L responsibilities for all projects. Innovations focused on payment, mobile/tablet commerce, omnichannel shopping, digital gift cards, media micropayments, social marketing, multi-variant testing and optimization systems, point of sale integration, mobile couponing, demand generation, new devices (Xbox, TV, gas station pumps, kiosks, etc.), social commerce, cause marketing, and digital goods/virtual currencies. Results included identifying 12+ key acquisition targets for global growth, becoming the #1 payment source for digital goods in 2011 ($4.7 billion), PayPal on the Xbox for 60 million+ users (Dec '11), launching the first live point of sale solution for PayPal at Home Depot (Jan '12), launching mobile point of sale solutions (Feb '12), creating a virtual ATM network on CoinStar/RedBox (March '12), partnering with Comcast/Time Warner/TiVo to develop one-click TV-commerce (June '12), GE Wattstation electric car charge station integration (July '12), a "buy with group" solution for group buying and gifting (Aug '12), demand generation and electronic gift card solutions to boost return usage by 400%+ (Sept '12), new uses of cause marketing to increase conversion (Sept '12), putting PayPal on Smart TV's (March, '13), and more.

NearbyNow was funded by Draper, Fischer, Jurvetson and Norwest Ventures, and was acquired by JiWire, Inc. (now InMarket) in November, 2010.
