Directly led over $2.5B in strategic investments & acquisitions including acquisition of Infineon’s Wireless Division and System-on-Chip teams from Texas Instruments, Freescale and Motorola. The result was building from scratch Intel's Atom platform to over $3B in annual revenue before moving to Hewlett-Packard.

Reported to Intel’s President & Chief Operating Officer and under the mentorship of Intel Chairman, Andy Grove, charged with creating an alternative operating system (Linux) and building a channel software solutions business. Built the organization from scratch into a worldwide channel business located on 4 continents and 16 countries. Managed the P&L for the multi-billion dollar solutions group. Required deep engagement with Intel channel members, senior ministers of international governments, and non-government organizations. Linux distribution is still in wide use by multiple Linux companies worldwide.

Extensive experience with System-on-Chip (SOC), silicon packaging, cellular wireless, memory, interconnects, fabrics, graphics, video and power management.
