On July 2017 Syneron-Candela was acquired by APAX partners in a “going private” transaction.

Took the company public on Nasdaq in January of 1996 and raised more than $250M in 3 public offerings, the company reached a valuation of more than $1B returning to its investors more than X120 on their investment in the company.
