Work Experience

2022

  • Product Manager

    2023

Found out I love it here. Still rapidly growing each day as I get better at building delightful and useful products for millions of merchants and billions of shoppers.

  • Apprentice Product Manager

    2022 - 2023

After building and working in early-stage startups for a few years, I wanted to solve a bigger problem at one of the best companies in the world. This program gave me the perfect chance to get involved at Shopify really early on. Balancing school and the APM program was an interesting decision, but I grew quickly, with the help of some great leadership. I worked on Shopify's Sales Channels, and then Ads and Audiences. I got to take big swings with lots of autonomy: from building full product roadmaps early on to owning our email channel towards the end of my rotations, I've been fortunate to create impact and learn by doing.

2020 - 2023

  • Managing Partner

    2022 - 2023

I clearly couldn't get enough of this crew. Led the West Coast investment team, bet on some phenomenal founders, and had the time of my life.

  • Investment Partner

    2020 - 2022

DRF is the original, student-run pre-seed venture fund that invests in student founders ridiculously early. Some crazy people decided to trust us with money, and we get to place bets on founders we like. It's the perfect gig, imo: I get to nerd out with insanely talented founders, and they get to build the future. Got an amazing idea? Hit me up!

2019 - 2022

  • President

TroyLabs is USC's primary entrepreneurship organization. As a collective of the most driven entrepreneurial students on campus, we help Trojan startups succeed on their journeys from MVP to IPO. From helping our startups raise over 3 million dollars, to bringing together top-tier mentorship programs, to hosting events for over 300 startups that have attracted more than 3,000 people, the impact we've created here at TroyLabs is unparalleled, and something I'm proud to be a part of. I have the privilege to lead this group of amazing people to do bigger and better things than ever before, from connecting underestimated founders with top-tier VCs to open-sourcing valuable founder insights so that anyone at USC can create an impact. Whether it's learning from an insane speaker lineup through our BUILD accelerator or seeing founders' lives changed at DEMO, taking risks in leadership is something I've truly come to appreciate at TroyLabs. While I could go on and on about what we do here, the huge uptick in USC's entrepreneurial success speaks for itself.

    2019 - 2021

Taking a project from 0 to 1 is probably the best testament to someone’s ability, and TroyLabs was my first opportunity to shape the face of USC entrepreneurship in a huge way. 🌱 Built out USC’s all-in-one founder pipeline: accelerator + consulting + venture πŸ”§ Hustled to create partnerships to make TroyLabs USC’s most impactful startup org 🀝 BUILD works with Robinhood, Snap Yellow, Facebook, Google... the list keeps growing! 🚧 WIP: Creating a founder community, curating resources, and dabbling with VC! Stay tuned.

  • Director Of Operations

    2020 - 2021

Lavalab, USC's premier product incubator, was where the Spree first came to fruition, so I wanted to give back to the organization that gave me so much. For one year, I received the privilege of being able to take my experience as a founder + investor and teach the future of Trojan entrepreneurship how to succeed at the earliest stages. Standing on the shoulders of giants, I created and presented a 10-week entrepreneurship crash course that has led to some amazing companies coming out of Lavalab. I can't wait to talk about them, soon! Being able to educate two entire cohorts of students looking to take the risk of founding something is an insane experience, and possibly the best way to give back to this community that has opened so many doors for me.

My first experience with a high-paced startup was where I first learned that to succeed, I needed to adapt, and do it quickly.
