Nova was a greenfield project for Novator and has since the launch in 2007 grown into a established mobile operator with more than 33% market share. Nova owns and operates 3G/4G/5G network with national coverage. In March 2017, Nova was sold to a Joint Venture of Novator and Pt Capital. In September 2021, Novator made a full exit by selling remaining stake to Pt Capital. Since then, Nova has been listed on the Icelandic Stock Exchange.
