  • Public Affairs Intern

    2014 - 2014

During my senior January Term at Harvard, I held an internship with Story Partners in Washington. This internship required dynamic thinking to balance business imperatives and insight into target audiences in order to produce creative and persuasive content. I edited a wide breadth of materials for one of the firm’s largest clients and was part of a team that successfully maintained a uniform campaign across several content channels. Additionally, I was invited to brainstorm with senior management on a variety of topics, including content creation, branding, and website functionality.

  • Communications Intern

    2012 - 2012

The Senate Republican Conference is the organization of Republican members in the U.S. Senate. The Conference helps senators communicate their priorities directly to the American people. As summer intern, I assisted in managing the SRC messaging through a wide variety of communications resources, including television, radio, web technology, social media, and Spanish language services. I was in contact with senators, constituents and several media outlets. My office was responsible for coordinating the Conference’s media presence and climbing the uphill battle of pushing out consistent and noncontroversial messaging during the debt ceiling stalemate.
