The purpose of the Pandemic Challenge is to elicit sensible viable ideas that can help abate the pandemic, i.e. to support and not try to conflict with or replace the work of healthcare professionals, businesses, NGOs and Government. Singularity University’s global network is an ideal platform for this initiative, as we are a diverse multi-ethnic group of technologists, scientists, entrepreneurs, government, NGO, corporate and SME people. While Singularity is known for its prowess in the arena of emerging technologies, the organisation’s mission is to educate and inspire people to help solve humanity’s hardest problems and this Convid-19 coronavirus is definitely one of those hard problems.

    Picsage was a messaging app that resembles the human experience and give user the options to interact with marvelous animations on friends pictures and videos. Are you familiar with Snapchat Lenses or the fresh aqui-hired MSWRD by Facebook, well we did that 2 years before them but failed under a few perspectives. We did Workshops in Bocconi University and DOMUS academy and the feedback were outstanding. Life is a series of moments and emotions that happen and then disappear. Fleeting picsages are so magical and vibrant. So much like life.

All one person's friends were able to see all the anonymous messages and play around and interact in a funny moderated way. From the idea to the App Store in less then 2,5 months. It eventually ended up being blocked by Apple...

    Be aware of fake in the fashion industry by checking the code. Use the same code to add the items you like in your virtual wardrobe. Share your items with friends or look what others have in their wardrobe. Strong analytics for the brand, grab potential costumers and customers, promotion system, geo-localize the products, and more. We had a nice and working MVP developed by a now Amazon engineer who was part of the project. The project was way too ahead of time considering that brands at the time didn't even have an e-commerce or strong online presence and related functions.
