I joined the Board of Directors of the Northeast Region of the American Technion Society in January 2014. The American Technion Society promotes and supports the Technion University in Haifa, Israel. The work and research being done at the Technion, and the technologies being brought to market as a result of that research are improving lives around the world. In November , 2019 I accepted the role of Chairman of the Board.

In April, 2012, I earned certification as a Professional Director at the American College of Corporate Directors, which is affiliated with the Corporate Directors Group. Continuing my Director credentialing education, in March, 2013 I earned Advanced Professional Director certification from the American College of Corporate Directors, and in November 2013 I attained Masters Professional Director certification. More recently, In March 2015 I attained Executive Masters Professional Director certification from the American College of Corporate Directors.
