    - Run a competitive selection process in the Spring and Fall to admit startups to our 6-week, mentor-driven program. - Recruit sponsors, mentors and investors to participate in the program. - Work with the founders 1:1 on their business plans and pitches. - Co-host Demo Day! #EmbarcLA When internships were cancelled due to COVID-19, we stepped up to develop and deliver this LA Mayor Entrepreneurship Program for underserved youth in collaboration with the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, and Los Angeles Center for Innovation & Technology (Bixel Exchange). Over 110 youth enrolled within 24 hours, 27 diverse speakers shared exciting career paths in technology and finance, and several aspiring entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas to the mayor and got his feedback.
