In 2012, I co-founded Space Ape with a vision to create London's best mobile gaming startup. As a co-founder, I embraced multiple roles alongside my official position as CTO, significantly shaping our award-winning company culture through initiatives like agile development squads, 360-degree staff feedback, OKRs, vertical service teams, and innovative office design. These efforts resulted in multiple "best place to work" accolades. As CTO, I led the development of a cutting-edge, highly scalable and flexible hosting and analytics infrastructure as well as a world-class mobile gaming engine. I also oversaw corporate IT through our rapid expansion and office relocations. I cultivated and mentored a highly capable "office of the CTO" team who ultimately assumed my responsibilities post-exit. Additionally, I spent time mentoring and coaching other staff members across levels and departments. Within 4 years, we raised funding up to Series C from renowned venture capital firms like Accel and Northzone. With our team of 130 industry leaders, we launched four titles played by tens of millions of players and generating over $70M in revenue, with many more games in the development pipeline. In 2017, we achieved one of our desired outcomes: joining Supercell through a majority acquisition. I've managed the design, development and deployment of the initial prototype for moshimonsters.com through R&D, public launch, growth and monetisation to profitability and beyond 80+ million users. I championed and lead teams through the switch to Agile development across the whole company, working along side key stakeholders to define the product roadmap and enabling us to realise an aggressive release schedule that has been recognised as one of the key reasons for the company's success. I've continued to improve Agile processes across the company through phases of rapid company growth while maintaining a rapid iterative approach to product development. Currently responsible for all corporate and production infrastructure, overseeing management of 60+ technical staff, business intelligence and information systems and the company's product development processes. Executive responsibilities as member of the management team, reporting to the CEO and the Mind Candy board.
