During my 2-year tenure, I championed the turn-around of the company from a generic website builder to an online marketing solution across web, mobile and social platforms focused on small businesses. Key Responsibilities & Achievements: * Defined and built cross-departmental consensus around a winning breakout strategy focusing on small business virtual front door solutions, resulting in explosive growth in revenues and company valuation from less than $30 million to $117.5 million in 2 years. * Managed developer community and integrated an ecosystem of over 20 small business applications into Webs App Store to fill competitive gaps in product offering while maintaining internal organizational support from engineering, product management, and customer service teams. * Identified, negotiated, and successfully integrated 2 critical international acquisitions: VisitorContact (rebuilt and relaunched as the first microbusiness CRM tool branded ContactMe) and Pagemodo (rebuilt and relaunched to become the leading Facebook Page creation tool with exponential user and revenue growth throughout 2011). * Championed strategic new business development and co-marketing initiatives with HP Logoworks, eNom/Demand Media, Register.com (now Web.com), Network Solutions (now Web.com), Constant Contact, MailChimp, RingCentral, CafePress, Ziplocal, ImmersiFind, Duda Mobile, Zumba, Wibiya, Google and Facebook to fill gaps in product offerings and accelerate time-to-market for small business offerings. * Ran the competitive M&A auction sales process involving 3 public suitors culminating in the strategic acquisition by Vistaprint in 2011 at $117.5 million valuation, spearheading all communications, negotiations, and diligence efforts (without any investment banker involvement).

Jaxtr was sold in a private transaction in 2009. Key Responsibilities and Achievements: * Product Management: Leading the vision, specification, and implementation of most of the core product features, including a viral user acquisition engine which grew the service to over 10 million registered users worldwide within the first year of launch, working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Support teams. * Innovation & Intellectual Property: Developing expertise in voice-over-IP (VOIP), SIP, and scalable web technologies and applications, co-authoring an issued patent in those areas. * Business Development: Putting together an ecosystem of back-end VOIP partnerships to drive down the costs of connecting VOIP and traditional PSTN networks in completely novel ways. * Strategic Acquisition: Leading the sale of the company to Sabse Technologies in 2009 with the mission to build a global cloud telephony platform.

While evangelizing for OMM in Silicon Valley, my legal practice focused on representing emerging growth companies, venture capital firms and private equity investors in the areas of corporate finance, securities, M&A and general corporate and business law. A significant part of my practice involved international transactions, including working on several cross-border venture capital and private equity transactions in China and spending a summer in Shanghai and Beijing.
