    2008 - 2011

I had constant 1on1 interactions with 100s of smart CEOs running fast growing SaaS, mobile, internet and information services companies, both B2B and B2C. I developed an investment thesis for the really amazing companies and worked hard to smartly deploy capital. While here I learned to quickly evaluate markets and investment ideas via market sizing, industry value chains, competitive benchmarking, unit economics, etc. Managed investment due diligence including: drafting term-sheets, negotiating NDAs, analyzing customer acquisition cost (CAC) and customer lifetime value (CLTV), key operating metrics (KPIs), building financial models, and interviewing customers. Sourced or worked-on opportunities totaling more than $300 million of contemplated investments across a $300 million venture capital fund and $4 billion private equity funds.

I worked out solutions for many tough business problems becoming an expert in customer and user experience analytics. Deloitte Turkey invited me to oversee their first quantitive and qualitative customer experience assessment as a subject matter expert. I built a useful set of general consulting skills here (e.g. business process design, competitive analysis, strategic planning, etc) and I also learned to managed people and a ridiculously fast pace of change.
