CapitalEnergy Corporation (CEC) is a private investment company. CEC closed a $118 million private equity round and entered into an agreement with a private equity sponsor to jointly capitalize a C$500 million investment fund. Responsibilities: strategy formulation; sourced and closed numerous investments and acquisitions; led multi-disciplinary team in due diligence, operations and business development efforts; lead team member for industry, legal, finance partners and third party advisors. CFO responsibilities included oversight of annual capital budgets, forecasting and tracking of KPIs and operating metrics, financial modelling, review of annual financial audits, MD&A, arranging credit facilities and leading relationship with financial lenders.
