TALENTHOUSE — Connecting brands, creators and influencers

2005 - 2009

  • Co-Founder, President

    2005 - 2009

With the vision of changing the world of voice communication, I co-founded Jajah 2005 in out of a basement in Austria, Europe. A few months later, after an extensive viral ramp-up period, I found myself in Silicon Valley backed by some of the most prestigious funds like Sequoia Capital (the early backers of Google, Yahoo, Cisco, Youtube, and many more) and strategic investors like Intel, Deutsche Telekom or Telus. Within 4 years we grew Jajah's user base from zero to more than 25 million with offices in Mountain View, California, Luxembourg, Europe, Israel, Middle East and Philippines, Asia. Additional partnerships with Yahoo, Microsoft, eHarmony, and other Internet players drove our expansion even further. In 2009 Jajah has been acquired by Telefonica for $207 million.
