Since opening the coaching business in March 2008, I've believed that the world’s most valuable asset is talent, and the most valuable skill is leadership. Then, having been asked by clients for years to put some ideas and learnings around this on paper, I eventually decided to write The Leaders Source Code. My aim was to provide practical examples of how key principles were identified, developed and applied while coaching CEOs, executives and entrepreneurs around the world. The intention was to articulate the principles in a practical and demonstrated way, with the hope that it might contribute towards helping leaders and entrepreneurs be genuine game-changers. And also, to help those making the leap for the first time, to do it, and do it well, no matter what your current situation may be.

For a period of around 10 years I worked in Ireland, England, China & Hong Kong, and Australia in a variety of operations and consulting roles. Involved 10 years of interesting and innovative work where I learned a lot working internationally in industry and consulting. Roles included planning, strategy, operations and consulting. Companies I worked for: Warner Lambert, Littelfuse, SiAS (ILTP), MWT (Jacobs) and GHD. In 2004 I was a part of a 4-person senior leadership team in a successful management buyout of our parent company.
