Received a full-time offer to join GIC Private Equity in 2021 / 2022. Interned concurrently within two teams: (i) Secondaries and (ii) Global Investments, Strategy and Risk. 1. Secondaries • Assisted the team on live deals by analyzing GPs and conducting valuation analyses on underlying portfolio companies. • Separately, as part of an individual internship project, sourced for continuation fund opportunities. Created a set of screening criteria through which a selection of funds was passed. Culminated in the bottom-up analysis of a target fund and an investment recommendation. 2. Global Investments, Strategy and Risk • Assisted the team in maintaining the database for monitoring performance of positions in the private equity portfolio. • Scrutinized deals in the capacity of a GISR Officer; identified key attractions and risks in reports which contained investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
