Working with Headline’s consumer tech team to source and identify Seed – Series B investments across B2C, B2B2C and marketplace landscapes in North America. Looking to invest in companies showing signs of product market fit which often exhibit characteristics including a highly engaged userbase, strong usage and revenue retention, clear willingness to pay (typically $1m+ in ARR), an advantaged customer acquisition model, a structural distribution advantage, network effects that can compound over time, unparalleled consumer love, and a path to a fundamentally strong business model with high margins and solid unit economics. Sectors of interest include marketplaces, passion economy, eCommerce, lifestyle, fashion, travel, dating, food tech, fitness, health and wellness, digital health, pets, education, fintech, media, entertainment, and gaming. Headline most recently raised $950 million to invest in early-stage technology companies. Some of the consumer tech companies we’ve backed early include Gopuff, Sonos, Bumble, Sorare, Scopely, Acorns, Farfetch, and TheRealReal.
