One of the top entrepreneurship programs in the country, the UW’s Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship is focused on creating the next generation of entrepreneurial talent, as well as producing an exciting collection of student-led startups. The Buerk Center is best known for its annual Business Plan Competition (since 1998), the Environmental Innovation Challenge (2009), and the Lavin Program (2006) for high-potential undergraduates. The center’s Early-Stage Job/Internship Fair provides a means for early-stage companies to recruit entrepreneurial undergraduates and MBAs, and our Jones + Foster Accelerator “graduates” up to 10 new companies each year. www.startup.washington.edu
