  • Associate Director / Category Lead of Supply Chain Grocery

    2017 - 2018

    - Built the Supply Chain Grocery team from the ground up. Started with myself and Aaron Wessels hopping on vendor calls and placing POs to scaling the team across the coasts to a total of 11 directs. Worked with the VP of Grocery GM, P&L owners, Marketing and PM teams to creatively drive margin for a low price point vertical. - We partnered with our P&L owners to identify target assortment and vendors that would benefit from improved on-site availability. Improved our in-stock rate by 12% and drove a 240% increase in GMV over a short time frame. - We sourced the largest vendor funded promotion in the company at the time ($2.1mm from Pepsi) into a transitioning warehouse network, resulting in $6mm in additional revenue. Creatively allocated our product to the most productive fulfillment centers where there was higher availability of space and throughput without disrupting ongoing operations.

This course is available to <5% of commissioned officer pilots. I was the most junior in flying hours, and graduated with the highest marks in both academics and flying. - Lead the exchange of 8 Black Hawks from Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt during the Arab Spring and overthrow of President Hosni Mubarak. The organization was severely under-resourced in personnel, equipment and runways. This was a success due to a tremendous team. - Commanded a 30 person organization in the Sinai responsible for the demilitarization of the Israel-Egyptian border in accordance with the 1979 Israel-Egypt Peace treaty. Responsibilities included Air Ambulance evacuation of personnel and restock of supplies to Saudi Arabia to support a 12 nation allied coalition. - Fortunate to partake in a small dream to compete at the world class level as an athlete!
