    The 14th Climate Partnership was established by Tommy Ahlers with the Danish Chamber of Commerce as the secretariat for the work. The members were selected representing the entire ecosystem, ie. entrepreneurs, researchers and investors. The task of the partnership was to shed light on the challenges and barriers, entrepreneurs and start-ups face as well as come up with concrete and feasible recommendations as to how better framework conditions can be established for green entrepreneurs and start-ups in Denmark. The partnership addressed the following themes: Capital, research, talent, data and procurement. The recommendations from the partnership were released to the public in June 2020.

Provided angel investment in syndication with SEED Capital from 2010 through 2014. Libratone was acquired by an Asian Investor Group in June 2014. Member of the board and minority investor from June 2014 through December 2015.

    Founded TechPeople in 2004 with Kim Fahrenholtz. TechPeople initially provided consultancy and recruitment services in relation to information technology and product development companies. In 2010 Kim Fahrenholtz acquired 100% ownership of TechPeople and today the company provides a wide range of consultancy and development services within embedded solutions, IT and business solutions.

    Founded Embedit in 2000 with Kim Fahrenholtz. Embedit was a development and consultancy company specializing in embedded systems, including design and development of embedded software, microelectronics and mechanics. Activities throughout Denmark from three geographical sites and clients included enterprises within mobile communications and networks, medical devices, sustainable energy solutions and consumer electronics. Data Respons acquired Embedit in October 2006. Data Respons is a full-service, independent technology company and a leading player within computer solutions and platforms for the embedded solutions market and is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange (Ticker: DAT). Continued to lead Embedit post-acquisition in 2006 and 2007 and became Managing Director and Board member of merged Danish operation from January 2008 through March 2009.

From January 1999 through August 2000: Marketing manager for Adaptive Software Group (spin-off from TI Software) with Scandinavian marketing responsibility promoting TI Enterprise Software Solutions.

    From October 1993 through July 1995: Account Manager with responsibility for selling Legent Systems Management solutions to enterprise clients in the financial sector. From August 1995 through December 1995: Computer Associates (CA) acquired Legent in July 1995. Transferred to Danish CA operation upon merger as National Account Manager for CA Systems Management solutions.
