In 2012, I was hired as the CEO of Coplex and later purchased the company during a management buyout in 2016. During my 8 years as CEO, Coplex raised two rounds of institutional capital, built over 200 startup companies, built a diversified portfolio of equity positions in growth companies, and became one of the largest Startup Studios in the US. My responsibilities at Coplex included business development, partnerships, M&A, team leadership, speaking, fundraising, and strategy. Today, Coplex partners with enterprises to launch companies and build venture portfolios in defined thematic areas of interest. Coplex has been featured in Entrepreneur, Forbes, The Washington Post, VentureBeat, Inc, and Fast Company. I currently hold a board position at Coplex.
